In the long run....
Its been nearly a month since that tiny little virus took control of our day to day life.I've seen hundreds and thousands of ideas by many people on social media for this short period of time and to be honest I find most of them really useful and valuable.I've seen most of my friends doing some pretty impressive stuff in this unexpected pastime and Im sure there are many people who are fond of BMI නගාසිටුවීම by eating like pigs and sleeping like sloths using covid era, well cheers to them too.
As a community we see people having better insight about life like never before.Day by day we realize money has no value at all in the end but love and caring has everything in it.Gradually the phrase පිනට ඉගෙනගැනීම which was going hand in hand with University undergraduates and Healthcare workers has faded away from the societal vocabulary.ආමිකාරයා has become අපෙන් එකෙකි ඒ මිනිසා again but this has its own on and off phases associated with it.Communities devided by religion has united in the name of humanity shattering down the walls of hatred. Most importantly mother nature heals herself thanks to corona. Now we see the marvel of skies as it is,global warming has halted wiping the sweat off polar bears, greentops bloom with myriad of colours thanking the unexpected springtime they got.
But I wonder what's gonna happen after the coronial havoc calls it a day. Will this new found insight of ours stay the same? Will the golden imprints in our hearts carved in the names of social workers gonna fade away? Are we going to switch the label to ආමිකාරයා when they head back to their barracks? Will those massive glaziers gonna cry again thanks to us? Will you keep watering your plants like you do these days? Will you guys continue to write and fill this blog up with awesome stuff like you do these days? I can go for whole night giving you number of question marks!
Corona has given us the time to reset.Resetting and continuing in this merry way is the best thing we can do in the post coronial era. After all humanity, love and caring for things around you matters most.Lets enjoy the time we have right now but lets not forget how wonderful the life was when we hit the roads again to catch a bus to university!
