Hi,

I'm Dinithi, an undergraduate from FoM UoP.
Amidst all this hub bub I just wanna share my good feelings with u ..☺
Of course this is not an ideal time to be happy seeing all the dead bodies piling up in Europe and America, the people who had to die in a way and at a time they never thought of including all those who had to sacrifice their lives on behalf of their oaths ,, the doctors ..so first of all I would like to wish them a happy after life 😟

There were so many times that I wished I was a doctor by now so that I also could do something to save the needed. ( honestly 😷)but here I'm with that guilt in my mind at home only wishing for the world to heal soon ..

Nevertheless staying at home as a resposible citizen is all I could do. ( ps_ it's my mistake if I fail to thank the current president who's doing a lot to keep us safe and in my opinion we as srilankans are so lucky to hv someone like him to handle this crisis which he's doing so well with the help of relevant authorities 😇)

I actually didn't want to do medicine 😅 but now although it took off  my entire youth I'm still being greatful to my parents for forcing me to do this seeing how noble that profession is ( and some people think that it's only about giving  a premade drug 😂)

I only recently realised that being locked down has its own beauty, , it's amazing in ways how it gives us time and opportunity

- to complete the work that had been piling up on the desk ( specially for someone like me who's an average in the fac 😂)
- to care about our neglected own selfs
Feeding the starved body with Amma's food ☺
Trying on some home made face packs 😂
Working out a bit💪 to flatten the stomach etc etc
-to hv a break far away from the routine life ( an opportunity to read all the story books bought from book fairs and kept untouched in the racks 😆)
- to realise that certain bonds are so special and interesting  ( eg - spending time with family members whom u see once in 3 to 4 days or hardly catchup in evenings since childhood 😂)
- to try and learn new things which we even could not think of doing a few weeks back ( and get chased away from the kitchen 😀)
- to see the people with real sense of humanity in the country
- to bring out the true potentials as a nation which had gone into hiding ( seeing all those new inventions made me wander why still this island is developing )

So this is a time that nature forced us ( ppl at home ) to enjoy little things in life while praying for those who risk their lives out there fighting until their last breath to make the ppl survive ❤

Stay safe and blessed
