April 21st Remembrance - A year ago that morning was just like any other day
đŽđ.đŦđ°.đŽđŦđđĩ
A year ago that morning was just like any other day;
Little did we know that it would end in disarray.
Little did we know that it would end in disarray.
A day no one wants to remember, but no one can forget;
That Easter morning, humanity was under threat.
That Easter morning, humanity was under threat.
A scene of the wretched mockery of human life under attack;
Never fading, for there are those who can never come back.
Never fading, for there are those who can never come back.
Unabashed cowardice plunged us into depths of despair,
Wrong questions being asked, human trust it did impair.
Wrong questions being asked, human trust it did impair.
We offer our tears to lessen the pain and heal;
Our own sweat to rebuild what we lost, strong as ever, forged in steel.
Our own sweat to rebuild what we lost, strong as ever, forged in steel.
Because a year ago, that morning was đ¯đ°đĩ just like any other day.
